If you are wanting to design clothes to enter concepts there’s several different apps you can use to draw your design and enter into ideas or concepts.
However, When you enter your designs it does not mean that it will actually be put into game. For ideas it has to be funded and in concepts it has to be voted for by the community.
The High-Rise staff uses illustrator but you have to pay for it. All you need is some sort of drawing app and then the High Rise staff creates the actual item in game. As long asit’s not stolen artwork or redesigns of current items. I am an Android user I have a Samsung Galaxy S9 fe tablet and so I use IBIS paint. However I have been testing other apps and recently paid for vector ink for vectoring and it’s just super buggy which is really sad because I think it could be a great program. As far as just rasterization and other digital art I have grown to really enjoy hipaint however it does have some buggy features as well. I just really like the interface and the stabilization in the brush and I also like the options for customization like creating your own brushes and stuff I have paid for features in that app as well I just don’t like subscriptions I like a one-time fee and so that’s why while I’m testing I’m just testing out features that I will use by buying their in-app purchases.
But if you use Apple products procreate is what almost everybody uses Procreate(Apple) , Adobe Fresco (Apple), and IBIS paint (Android) are probably the top free apps out there right now
