Hey Highrisers — DrDropKicks here
Welcome to the first of what will be many more Dev Diaries. Together, we’ll use these blogs to explore what we’re building, why these design decisions were made, when new features are coming, and how all of us can shape the future of Highrise.
The Highrise community has shared a lot of thoughtful feedback on how updates are communicated, and we’ve taken that to heart. These diaries are our way of opening the doors wider, giving all of us a clearer look at what’s being created straight from the development process.
We’ve made transparency a top priority because building a better Highrise is something we’re doing together.
So let’s kick things off with something small but mighty: Transaction History.
Why Transaction History Matters
This new quality-of-life feature lives on the Highrise website and gives players a full view of their last 40 days of transactions. That includes:
-
Grab Spins
-
Trades
-
Gift Redemptions
-
Furniture Purchases
-
Pet Item Equips
-
…and more
You can find Transaction History by clicking on your Profile in the Highrise website and then clicking on Transaction History.
For awhile now, we received a lot of support questions relating to transactions. Some commonly asked questions include:
-
Where did my item go?
-
How many spins did I make on a Grab?
-
How much gold did I spend on a Grab?
-
Why didn’t I get gold for a marketplace listing after it was sold?
-
Where have I spent my gold?
This feature was introduced to streamline transaction information for everyone. That way, everybody feels confident in where their items and Gold are going.
What’s Next
That’s everything to share today! While this feature is small, its part of a bigger push toward transparency, smoother support, and giving everyone more insight into their Highrise experience. In the meantime, we’d love to hear feedback on the feature covered. Feel free to drop any ideas and thoughts in the official Discord and to the support team.
Thanks for building this world with us
